Week 11: 10th - 14th March 2025
GBPUSD :
Last week was a bull run for GBPUSD. It opened at 1.2586 on 3rd March 2025, Monday, and closed around 1.2921 on 7th March 2025, Friday, which is a rally of around 335 pips. The GBPUSD is rallying from 13th Jan 2025, taking retracement here and there. But last week was definitely the largest rally in a week of this year. Next week we may see some sluggishness because it has rallied quite a lot in a single week. On 07th March, which was Friday, the non-farm payroll and unemployment rate in the USA disappointed the USD. Remember, 1.3000 is a strong resistance. Bullish trades should be taken with caution now. If anyhow it goes below 28th February 2025 low of 1.2559, I would say the possibility of any upward movement is very low, and any long position should be avoided. But anyways, next week traders should be cautious because it has rallied quite a lot in the last week, and any long position at this stage should be created with a deep stop loss or should be completely avoided, and traders should wait till 12th March 2025, which is Wednesday, to see the inflation data of the USA and create long or short positions accordingly. The last time the GBPUSD was above 1.3000 was on 11th November 2024 on a closing basis.
